DAY 1: NAIROBI to MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Upon arrival at the airport, you will depart Nairobi for Masai Mara, approximately 5 hrs. drive, through the beautiful sceneries, with a stopover at the Rift Valley escapements and past the smallest church built by the British enslaved Italian soldiers. You will have a stopover at Narok Town, for a short time to shop at the supermarket and curio shops, you can grab snacks and some drinks that will keep you energized through the entire safari period. Later in the evening, embark on an evening game drive through from 3.30 pm to 6.00 pm. Encounter diverse wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and numerous elephants. With luck, catch a glimpse of the majestic big cats. Conclude the day with a satisfying dinner and a well-deserved dinner.
DAY 2 & 3: TWO FULL DAY GAME DRIVES at MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
After early morning breakfast, depart for a full day game drive in the wild at the plains of Masai Mara. We shall leave with packed lunch for a full day in the bush only to come back at the camp for dinner. The game drive takes us to look out for different wild animals including the big cats hunting such as lions, leopards, cheetahs and Serval cat. If lucky you will get to see real hunting and may be the cats bringing down a kill. Additionally, you will get to witness one of the world wonders; the great wildebeest migration, which involves millions of wildebeests, zebra and antelopes migrating from Serengeti to Masai Mara in search of greener pastures. Other wildlife includes Elephants, Buffaloes, Wildebeests, Zebras, Elands, Topi, Giraffes, Impalas, Hippos, Crocodiles among others. A picnic Lunch will be served in the bush in the midst of Mara Plains and continue with game drive for the remaining part of the day. Be ready to ask questions for your driver guide is much informed about the wildlife. Later, return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
The most ideal time to witness The Great Migration is from July to October, this period offers the chance of seeing the wildebeest and zebra herds migrate from Serengeti into The Masai Mara in the search of fresh grazing.
DAY 4: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE to NAIROBI
After breakfast at your camp, you will check out and head for Masai Village Visit; Immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Masai people by visiting a traditional village. Learn about their customs, traditions, and way of life, witness their intricate beadwork and warrior dances. Then transfer to Nairobi for your outbound flight.
