Detailed daywise itinerary
Day 1: Departure from Nairobi to Masai Mara
On arrival at the airport, you will be received by a representative of Yulle Adventures. You will then be briefed on the details of your safari and introduced to your tour guide. You will then start the drive to Masai Mara, making a stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint, where you will view and take pictures of the breathtaking landscape. You will then proceed with the journey and get to Masai Mara by lunch time. On arrival, you will check in to the camp/lodge, have lunch then relax. Later in the evening, you will enjoy a guided game drive until 6 pm.
Day 2: Whole day game drive
On this day, your tour guide will pick you from the camp right after breakfast and set off for a whole day game drive. During the game drive, you will see several wild animals, including the Big Five. You will also have your picnic lunch boxes packed at the camp. The tour guide will drive you to an ideal location within the park, where you will stop and have lunch, before proceeding with the game drive for the rest of the day. The game drive should be done by evening then you exit the park as you head back to the camp.
Day 3: Maasai village tour and departure to Naivasha
This is your last day in Masai Mara. After breakfast, you will check out of the camp, have your luggage in the vehicle and head to the Maasai village. While in the village, you will be taken through the Maasai culture, dances, practices and way of living. You will also get a chance to purchase hand-made souvenirs from the Maasai people. After the tour, you will start the journey to Naivasha. You should arrive by lunch time then into the hotel and have lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will head for a relaxing boat ride in Lake Naivasha and a walk.
Day 4: Departure to Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Amboseli and arrive in the afternoon. On arrival, you will check in, have lunch and rest. You will then head for a guided game drive at around 16:00. This will take two hours, so you should be back to the camp by 18:00.
Day 5: Whole day game drive
On your second day in Amboseli, you will start your game drive after breakfast, where you will enjoy a breathtaking view of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will also see the biggest herds of elephants in Kenya and other wild animals. You will have your picnic lunch in the wild, guided by your tour guide who will drive you to an ideal destination for the picnic. You will then proceed with the game drive for the rest of the day.
Day 6: Departure to Nairobi
This is your last day in Amboseli. You will check out of the camp after breakfast and start the journey back to Nairobi. Your tour guide will take you to JKIA as you wait for your flight back home or to a destination of your choice within Nairobi.
