ITINERARY
Day 1: Departure to Amboseli National Park
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be received by a representative of Yulle Adventures and introduced to your tour guide/driver, who will show you to the vehicle and start the journey to Amboseli National Park. The drive will take approximately 4 hours. You will arrive in Amboseli by lunch time, check into Ol Tukai Lodge, have lunch and relax. You will later go for an evening game drive then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full day game drive in Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, you will start your guided game drive, where you will enjoy a breathtaking view of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will also see the biggest herds of elephants in Kenya and other wild animals. This will last the whole day. You will also have your picnic lunch within the park. You should be back to the lodge by evening.
Day 3: Departure to Nakuru and game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park
On this day, you will leave Amboseli after breakfast and start the journey to Nakuru. This is about 7-hour drive. On arrival, you will check in to The Cliff and have lunch. Afterwards, you will proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, which will last until evening.
Day 4: Morning game drive in Nakuru, Departure to Masai Mara and evening game drive in Masai Mara
You will enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park before exiting the park and head to Masai Mara. This will be approximately 5-hour drive. On arrival, you will check into Ilkeliani Camp, have lunch and relax. Afterwards, you will go for an evening game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve. This will last for about 2-3 hours before you return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Morning balloon safari and full day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve
You will leave the camp at around 5am and drive to the hot air balloon take-off point. On your way there, you will enjoy beautiful animal sightings as mornings are their most active times. The balloon will take off at around 6 am and last for about an hour to one and a half hours. This will give you a beautiful view of the reserve as you get to see wildlife from a different angle. After the balloon safari, you will enjoy a bush breakfast with champagne before your tour guide picks you up for a full day game drive. You will return to the camp in the evening
Day 6: Full day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you will set off for a full day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve. During the game drive, you will see several wild animals, including the Big Five. You will also have your picnic lunch boxes packed at the lodge. The tour guide will drive you to an ideal location within the park, where you will stop and have lunch, before proceeding with the game drive for the rest of the day.
Day 7: Maasai village cultural tour and departure to Nairobi
This is your last day in Kenya. You will check out of the lodge after breakfast and head to the Maasai village, where you will have a cultural tour, which includes songs, dances and being taken through the village and the Maasai way of living. You will also get a chance to purchase souvenirs that are hand-made by the locals. You will then start the journey to Nairobi, making a short stop at the Rift Valley escarpment. Here, you will have a view of the beautiful escarpment and take pictures. You will then proceed to Nairobi and arrive in the afternoon. Your trip will end at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where your guide/driver will bid you goodbye as you wait to board your flight back home.
